About Us
According to the World Health Organization “health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Dr. Chen firmly believes that disease results from a disharmony between the mental, physical, and emotional body. In his treatments he strives to ease discomfort by harmonizing the body by smoothing the flow of qi and by calming the mind to restore the shen. He perceives the human body and the human-being as an integrated whole and treats the human-being who has a disease, not just the disease. Trained in both the United States and Taiwan, Dr. Chen is a compassionate healer with immense experience in treating chronic pain, digestive issues, and sports injuries, yet his vast knowledge allows him to treat any condition for which Chinese medicine is appropriate.
